Nursery – nurture, comfort and support
Nursery – nurture, comfort and support
0-1.5 years old
Educators = Miss Anu and Miss Syria
Our team in the nursery understand it is essential for providing a comfortable and appropriate space for young children, planning our environments that embrace and support our young children as learners. Young babies are learning at a rapid rate. We love and nurture each baby offering the comforts of home and safe spaces to explore, and understand the big world around them.
Our Educators know it is vital for children to feel safe, and supported to become confident little learners, and that they develop a sense of belonging as they become familiar with routines and provided opportunities. This is why our team encourage regular communication with parents to gain an understanding each child’s individual needs.
Our nursery room offers a nurturing and calming environment for the children to explore.

A Day in Our Nursery
At our nursery, every day is filled with fun, learning, and plenty of cuddles! We follow a flexible routine that helps babies feel safe, happy, and engaged as they grow and explore.
6:30 – 7:30: Breakfast. We start the day with a nutritious breakfast, including wholesome baby purees for our little ones. It’s a gentle and calm way to begin the day.
6:30 – 8:00: Family Grouping. During Family Grouping, babies have the opportunity to meet and connect with different educators and friends. This special time helps build early relationships and a sense of community.
8:00 – 9:00: Playtime (Indoor/Outdoor). Our activity of the day happens during this time, before the younger babies settle down for their morning rest. Babies enjoy exploring, discovering, and having fun both inside and outside.
9:00: Morning Tea. A healthy snack to refuel and refresh, ready for more learning and play.
9:30: Bottles & Nap for Younger Babies / Free Play & Story Time for Older Babies. Younger babies enjoy a calm bottle and settle into a morning nap, while older babies engage in imaginative free play and cozy story time with their educators.
10:30 – 11:00: Group Time. A wonderful opportunity for all babies who are awake to join together for songs, rhymes, and interactive group activities that support social and cognitive development.
11:00: Lunch A delicious, nutritious lunch prepared to keep our little ones happy and energised.
11:30 – 2:00: Rest & Play. Older babies enjoy a restful nap, while younger babies explore sensory experiences and engage in playful indoor and outdoor activities.
2:00: Afternoon Tea. A light snack to keep energy levels high for the afternoon.
2:30 – 6:30: Free Play & Activities. Until Pick-Up The afternoon is full of free play, both indoors and outdoors, along with engaging activities that encourage creativity, curiosity, and social interaction until it’s time to go home.
Settling New Families – Message from Anu (lead educator in Nursery)
Building Strong Relationships with Families and Children: At our nursery, we believe that every child and family deserves a warm, welcoming environment. We focus on creating a friendly, supportive space where children feel safe, and families feel confident. Welcoming Families: We greet every family with a smile and make sure you feel at home. We keep you informed about your child’s day, routines, and milestones, and we always listen to your questions, concerns, and family values. Supporting Your Baby’s Emotional Needs: We respond sensitively to your baby’s cues, offering cuddles, calm voices, and familiar routines to help them feel secure. Separation anxiety is completely normal, and we reassure families while providing updates and photos to ease any worries. Working Together as a Team: Our educators collaborate closely to ensure consistency in care. We document routines and preferences, so every child receives the same nurturing support from all staff. Together, we create a safe, loving environment where babies can build strong attachments, families feel confident, and the transition into childcare is happy and smooth.
