Communication & Partnerships

Daily Updates

We use our parent communication app to share photos, updates, meals, sleeps, and milestones throughout the day. You’ll never miss a moment of your child’s Wildhood adventures!

Open Door Policy

We welcome conversations! Whether it’s at drop-off, pickup, or via our app, please share anything important about your child. We’re a team, and communication is everything.

Regular Catch-Ups

We offer regular parent-educator meetings to discuss your child’s progress, share observations, and set goals together. You’re always welcome to request a chat anytime.

Family Events

Throughout the year, we host family events, celebrations, and information sessions. It’s all part of building our village and strengthening our community connections.

Health, Safety & Wellbeing

Illness Policy

If your child is unwell, please keep them home to rest and recover. We follow strict health guidelines and will contact you if your child becomes ill during the day. Children must be fever-free for 24 hours before returning.

Medication

We can administer medication with written parent consent and detailed instructions. All medications must be in the original packaging with your child’s name clearly labelled.

Nutrition

Our chef prepares fresh, nutritious meals daily following dietary guidelines and accommodating allergies and cultural requirements. Menus are displayed and shared via our app.

Sun Safety

We are a sun-safe centre! We provide sunscreen (nappy change stations and entries), enforce hat-wearing outdoors, and plan activities to minimise UV exposure during peak times.

Emergency Procedures

We have comprehensive emergency management plans and conduct regular drills. All staff are trained in first aid and CPR. We’ll always keep you informed in any emergency.

Security

Our centre has secure entry systems. Only authorised individuals can collect your child. Please inform us in advance if someone different will be picking up your child, and they must provide photo ID.
