Welcome to the vibrant and nurturing community of Kenmore Hills Early Learning! We are delighted to have you and your little one join our family. As the day approaches for your child’s first adventure with us, we want to ensure it is smooth and memorable. To help you prepare, we’ve put together a handy checklist of essentials for that special first day.
Bag
Prepare a backpack or bag that’s easy for your child to carry. This will be their trusty companion for storing all their belongings.
Hat
Don’t forget to pack a hat for your child. Whether it’s for outdoor play or a spontaneous adventure, a hat helps protect them from the sun while adding a touch of style to their day.
Sheets for Rest Time
Comfort is key during naptime. Please bring along sheets or a small blanket that your child can cozy up with during their rest period.
Drink Bottle
Staying hydrated is very important, especially during active play and learning sessions. A labeled water bottle ensures your child has quick access to refreshment throughout the day.
At Least Two Changes of Clothing
Little explorers can get messy, and we fully encourage it! Pack at least two changes of clothes to accommodate any unexpected spills or adventures.
Spare Underpants (At least 6 pairs if Toilet Training)
For our toilet training champions, extra underpants are a must. Accidents happen, and we’re here to support your child through every step of this developmental milestone.
Bottles and Formula (Nursery Room)
For families with little ones in the nursery room, please bring labeled bottles and formula to ensure your baby feels right at home.
Tips for a Smooth Start
Label Everything
Help us keep track of your child’s belongings by labelling each item with their name. This simple step minimises the chances of mix-ups and ensures a seamless experience.
Share Special Instructions
If your child has any specific needs or preferences, feel free to share them with our caring staff. Communication is key to providing the best possible care for your little one.
